I have been on herbalife for over 1 month an only have lost 2 pounds. What is the average weight loss. I only had 10 to lose, but this seems worthless

OP, what exactly is herbalife? only 2lbs in one month isn't a lot, most people lose 1-2lbs per week through a good balanced diet and exercise, then again everyone is different and different things work for different people - please enlighten me as to what herbalife is.

I have never heard of this before but googled it an found the homepage of the site:
(moderator: link edited -- No Affiliate LInks Allowed)

^ lots of their products..

It does seem legit, but the fact there are so many pills worries me. You'd be popping so many and consuming who knows what.....

I tried Herbalife before, using their 5 meds combination. It depends on how much weight you want to lose. If you want to lose 5-10 lbs, then you can use the 3 meds combination, and so forth. I want to lose a lot, so I used the 5 meds combi.

The process is skipping meals and you only need to eat one heavy meal. You will then drink a Hi-protein Shake as a replacement for the skipped meals. The other meds are vitamins, cellulite remover, cleansing tablets, green tea.

I lost weight when I was on this for 1-2 months, but I can't stand skipping meals. When I stopped taking the shakes and started eating again, I gained all the weight I lost.

I really can't say if it's effective in the log run since most of the people can't skip meals. Their meds combination are expensive too.

Herbal life has become quite popular in several countries through its network marketing efforts. But, it involves skipping meals and the vital nutrients are obtained from the herbal life powders. But, how long can only remain without taking meals. More over, the herbal life products are expensive too. Herbal life is good for achieving short term results but in the long term, one has to adopt standard habits like exercising and taking light food.

I lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks by eating an apple 20 minutes before lunch and dinner. I will tell you though, I began to hate apples.

IMO herbalife does not sound like a healthy plan!
I think you should invest in a portion plate and make your own healthy non processed, non frozen meals!

Herbalife is so expensive! That's $200 per month off you pocket. And when you reach your goal, you have to use herbalife until 3 to 6 months after.

I think the idea is, in a day, drink 2 glasses of shake, drink a lot of water and eat anything for dinner. Correct?

Yes. But will you honestly be satisfied with 2 glasses of shake and water? You'll definitely lose weight starving yourself.
If you can't live this way, forget herbalife - you'll probably end up gaining more weight. :(

I think the tea is great. However, don't take tea before bed time - I swear it will keep you active all night!

Herbalife isn't for everyone. In most cases it depends on your health. Your host should always remind you to check with your doctor. Herbalife can help you with a lot more than weight lose. I use to sale Herbalife products and I still enjoy them. The tea is good, but not before bedtime. Herbalife does have night products that you can take before going to bed. Best wishes.

Yes, herbalife is a expensive way to on dieting or supplementing your body. It does work to some people and some do not, but the bottomline is it is still the cost that really matters because people now a days are searching for a more cost effective way on dieting and living a healthy life.

This doesn't seem worth spending $200 a month to lose only two pounds.

That's why we have a choice when it comes to dieting. Try to research about it on the net and check to your doctor if that diet is applicable for you.
