Yup, I am a cleansing addict.  Ever since doing them, my life has changed for the better.  I no longer get sick, and I attribute it all to cleansing.  In fact, in my opinion, (even though it is a gross subject) colon cleansing is probably one of the healthiest things I have ever done.  Really!

FYI, I personally cleanse about 4 times per year.  Everybody always asks, so there it is.

So... What Internal Cleanse Product Do I Use?

I am interested in trying DrFloras Colon Cleanse. I am embarrassed to admit that I am 28 years old and unable to swallow pills. Would they still be effective if opened and only used the contents inside, and how would this taste? I am also in Canada, can it still be purchased or bought at a location out here?

I read all of the discussions and decided to try Dr. Floras. I received my shipment today. I wanted to get started and realized everything refers to one scoop but yet it is not defined nor was anything provided. I have tried to telephone Dr. Floras but the message says they are open and I am continuously cut off the line. Do you have an idea of what the "one scoop" dosage is? To pay this amount of money without even receiving a scoop measurement is alarming. I submitted your name as to referral so I am looking to you for help.

Your Kit should have come with a scooper. If it didn't for some reason, then you can still use a rounded tablespoon as a measure. Just add one rounded tablespoon to apple juice, mix it for about 30 seconds, and then drink promptly.

I have never tried a colon cleanse. recently have been looking into them and came across your site. i was reading all the blogs and it sounded pretty good. I clicked on the Dr Flora site and saw that video they posted on there. It totally freaked me out!! Is that really what is happening in my body with those gross worm things? It was very disturbing and would like to know if this product gets rid of those and how i can tell if i have them?

Tricia: Depending on what kind of parasites you have, you can have a lot of different symptoms, from the obvious like anal itching to the not so obvious, like having low energy, or getting sick all the time. Taking the DrFloras Parasite Defense should get rid of anything you might have. If you have pets, I think you should do the Parasite Defense 3 or 4 times per year, just to be safe.

Susan/Barb: Depending on how long it has been since you have done a cleanse, and how bad your life style is, a cleanse 3 or 4 times per year should be sufficient. Some people take the 15 day cleanse twice, back to back, to get it all out.

The information you post is very interesting. Why don't physicians recommend or mention this type of colon/instestinal maintenance for people? If this works so well I would think this would be a no brainer in everyone's dietary habits, similar to controlling our cholesteral.

Will08, that is an excellent question. What I have found to be true in most cases is that doctors are taught to prescribe medication to cure disease, and not prevent it. So if you have high cholesterol, they prescribe medication to lower it, but there are side effects with every medication. You can lower cholesterol naturally with good diet and exercise, without negative side effects.

The same can be said for internal cleansing. There's no medications prescribed for it, so doctors do not prescribe anything for it, nor do they preach it (most of them, anyway.)

Many doctors do advocate internal/colon cleansing, so we can't lump them all into the same group.

I personally know doctors that do internal cleansings on themselves.

I have also tried a couple of different products (Dual Action Cleanse and the Oxi powder) in which Dual made me feel sick with no results and had diarreah from the Oxi. I give you credit for answering all the questions posted and having patience from the skeptical folks. Your site is what has convinced me to order.
