Product Reviewed: Bowtrol
  Customer Rating: Average

Bowtrol is not a terrible product, nor is it a great product; it IS however, misleading. Bowtrol is not really a colon cleanse. It is basically a laxative more than anything, as I will explain below.

See below for my discussion on why it will probably not give you the deep cleanse of toxins, parasites and heavy metals that you are looking for, and our recommendation on a cleanse that will.

And there are more problems. There are numerous customer complaints about yet another misleading aspect of Bowtrol, their “Free” trial offer, which isn’t really free at all. In fact, it’s about $80 a month, and VERY difficult to get rid of.

We cannot stress enough that you should NOT participate in "free" trials - they are NOT FREE. See below for an explanation of this as well.

Note that “Bowtrol” is often misspelled as “Bowltrol” or “Boweltrol.”

  Hidden Charges, Dissatisfied Customers

“Free Trials” seem to be all the rage on the internet nowadays, for colon cleansing, Acai, and all sorts of other products. Unfortunately, these trials are NOT free at all.

The trick behind these offers is that they only charge you for shipping and handling up front – but by doing so, they get your credit card number. The fine print tells you that you will be charged monthly until you cancel, and it’s typically not easy to do so.

Bowtrol doesn’t seem to have as many online complaints as some other companies, so they probably provide slightly better customer service; but the offer is still horribly misleading, and designed to trick people into thinking that they are getting something for free, when really they are going to be charged… a LOT.

Bowtrol is Really a Laxative, Not a Colon Cleanse

In other words, it will make you go to the bathroom a lot, but that alone will not give you the benefits of a true internal cleanse.

The first ingredient in the colon cleanse product, Cascara Sagrada, is basically a laxative. As is the second ingredient, chinese rhubarb stem. You get the idea.

This doesn’t make Bowtrol a bad product, but it does make it more of a laxative than a colon cleanse, so you aren’t really getting what is advertised. Laxatives are some of the cheapest products out there; so if all you need is to relieve constipation, there are much cheaper alternatives than $80 a month.

If you want a full colon cleanse, you should choose a product that will actually give you a deep cleanse.

While I do want to ensure that people use only the best health products, I don't want people approaching me to talk about cleansing, or companies sending me legal threats!
